ELECTRONIC KNOWLEDGE INTERCHANGE APPOINTS
NEW COO
CHICAGO – Electronic Knowledge Interchange,
Inc., the Chicago-based industry-leading electronic solutions provider,
proudly announces the appointment of Chris Rigg as the company's new Chief
Operating Officer.
A top industry professional, Rigg, of
Winnetka, Illinois, is a Michigan State Graduate with 15 years of experience
in the industry. He will immediately take over the day-to-day operations
at EKI Consulting.
Prior to joining EKI in April of 2003,
Rigg was a partner in Accenture's Financial Services Industry practice,
where he served many of the world's leading financial institutions. He
brings significant experience in the architecture, design, implementation
and integration of eCommerce systems and enterprise infrastructures.
In addition to his extensive technical
experience, Chris has particular expertise in the financial services industry
with experience at commercial, retail and investment banks, commercial
and personal lines, insurance providers, managed care providers and international
re-insurance companies.
Prior to his tenure at Accenture, Rigg
was the director of the networking and systems integration practice for
Blackwell Consulting Services. He has also held positions in the information
technology groups at Michigan National Bank and Citizens Insurance Company.
Rigg says that he is looking forward
to the new challenges and opportunities that will come with the COO position,
stating, "We will continue to build on EKI's proven track record of
helping our clients drive shareholder value through technology by expanding
into off-shore delivery services, and open source technologies."
