DEMETRIUS CARNEY

Demetrius Carney is a partner with the Chicago office of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon. He concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate development, including land use planning, corporate, and public finance.

Mr. Carney was formerly a Commissioner for the City of Chicago's Plan Commission. He currently serves as President of the Chicago Police Board. His affiliation include the St. Ignatius College Prep's Board of Trustees, the Alliance of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs, Inc, the Board of Directors for Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, and the Economic Club of Chicago.

Mr. Carney is a member of the bar of the State of Illinois. He is an active member of the Cook County, Chicago, National and American Bar Associations, in which he has held a series of committee membership assignments.

Mr. Carney attended DePaul University, College of Law on scholarship, graduating in 1974. He returned to DePaul as an Adjunct Professor in Real Estate from 1982 to 1984.
