LANGDON D. NEAL Langdon D. Neal received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York in 1978, and received his law degree from University of Illinois in 1981. Since 1981, Mr. Neal has been a member of the firm of Earl L. Neal & Associates. Mr. Neal's practice concentrates in the area of real estate, zoning and land use. Mr. Neal is responsible for the eminent domain trial practice for the firm. During his association with Earl L. Neal & Associates, he has completed numerous jury and bench trials.
Mr. Neal has represented many developers on zoning and land use matters, including Stein and Company, John Buck and Associates, JMB Urban Investment, John Hancock Mutual Life, and Chicago Dock and Canal concerning development of major properties in downtown Chicago.
Mr. Neal is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Cook County Bar Association. He participated in the Judicial Evaluation Committee, Election Law Committee, Lawyer Regulation Committee, as well as the Minority Affairs Committee at the Chicago Bar Association.
Mr. Neal has served as a member of the State Board of Elections from 1985 through 1997. He held the position of Chairman of the State Board from 1991 through 1993. Mr. Neal now serves as Chairman of the Chicago Board of Elections.
Mr. Neal is a member of the Board of Directors of Cole Taylor Bank and serves on numerous civic and charitable organizations in the Chicago area. |
