EKI Hosts Webinar on Project Management Excellence and the Chicago HAN

Chicago, IL (May 12, 2010) — An EKI senior consultant presented a project management webinar in conjunction with the Technology Executives Club. Titled “From Urgency and Emergency to Order and Information — Project Management Best Practices for a Complex Development Challenge,” the webinar explored the complex project management challenges of re-engineering the Chicago HAN (Health Alert Network), a state-of-the-art emergency communications system and information portal for medical, law enforcement and government organizations.

IT leaders and professionals from across the U.S. attended the event to hear about a real-world example of how EKI implemented project management best practices to successfully deliver the City of Chicago Department of Public Health’s unique and innovative HAN, which is now considered the Gold Standard in rapid communication solutions by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
